ANDY SHAUF signs to ANTI- and ARTS & CRAFTS; NPR premieres new track "Jenny Come Home"
Yesterday, NPR announced that Andy Shauf has signed to Anti-, joining an eclectic roster of artists that includes Wilco, Deafheaven, Tom Waits, Neko Case and the Milk Carton Kids. Shauf has concurrently signed with Arts & Crafts for Canada.
On Monday October 19th, Andy's BBC Maida Vale session will air on Huw Stephens' BBC1 program beginning at 5pm Eastern / 10pm UK time; tune in here to hear the band play from the studio that birthed John Peel's famed Peel Sessions, engineered by Simon Askew (Paul Weller, Matthew Sweet, Radiohead, Iron Maiden).
Shauf finishes up a busy year of touring the US release of The Bearer of Bad News with appearances at Halifax Pop Explosion and Iceland Airwaves in the coming weeks, as well as a solo run supporting Low.
